Day by day

Day1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park Tarangire National Park

Begin your family safari with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy your first game drive before settling into your family-friendly lodge.

Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, warthogs and ancient baobab trees.

Day2 Tarangire to Ngorongoro Highlands Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire before travelling through the fertile highlands of Karatu to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Expect to see: Elephants, buffalo, giraffes, Maasai villages, coffee farms and scenic crater highlands.

Day3 Tarangire to Ngorongoro Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Drive approximately 3.5 hours via Karatu to the Ngorongoro area. Afternoon arrival at a family-friendly farm lodge with gardens and space to roam, just outside the conservation area gate.

Day4 Ngorongoro Crater Floor to Serengeti Serengeti National Park

Morning descent onto the crater floor for a game-rich drive among lion, elephant and flamingo, then a drive of roughly 3 hours to central Serengeti, with an afternoon game drive on arrival.

Day5 Full Day Serengeti Serengeti National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives around Seronera, including a bush breakfast in the field and storytelling around the fire in the evening.

Day6 Serengeti to Arusha Arusha

Final morning game drive, then a scheduled flight from Seronera Airstrip back to Arusha, approximately 60-90 minutes.
