Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your Goldfinch Adventures Tanzania representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Depending on your arrival time, you can relax after your flight, explore Arusha town, or enjoy optional activities before your safari begins the following morning.

Your safari guide will meet you for a briefing, where you will discuss the upcoming adventure, departure time, and important safari information.

Day2 Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari adventure officially begins. Depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant populations, giant baobab trees, and scenic landscapes along the Tarangire River.

Enjoy a full-day game drive searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many bird species. During the dry season, Tarangire becomes a wildlife hotspot as animals gather around permanent water sources.

In the late afternoon, continue toward the cooler Ngorongoro Highlands for your overnight stay.

Day3 Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park – Afternoon Game Drive Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Along the way, enjoy views of the highlands and possible wildlife sightings before entering the Serengeti plains. The Serengeti is famous for its incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Day4 Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Rim Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, one of the best times to observe predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards becoming active.

After breakfast, continue with another game drive while leaving Serengeti and travel back toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a final game drive.

The crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five in a relatively compact area. Search for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.

After your crater exploration, enjoy lunch before beginning your return journey to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight.
