Kenya, Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari – 10 Days

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya, where your private Emnel Adventures representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Settle in, relax and recover from your journey ahead of the safari adventure. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to enjoy an evening in Nairobi.

After breakfast, head out for your first safari experience at Nairobi National Park, one of Africa's most unique wildlife destinations. Just outside Kenya's capital, the park offers the chance to see lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, buffalo and other wildlife against the striking backdrop of Nairobi's skyline. Enjoy a private game drive through the park before returning to Nairobi for a relaxed afternoon and evening at your hotel.

After breakfast, leave Nairobi and travel south towards Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya's most iconic safari destinations. Arrive in time for lunch before heading out on your first game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Spend the afternoon exploring the park and watching wildlife across its open plains and seasonal wetlands before returning to your lodge for the evening.

Rise early for a final game drive in Amboseli, when wildlife is often most active and the morning light reveals spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel to the Kenya–Tanzania border at Namanga. Complete the border formalities before continuing to Arusha, Tanzania's safari gateway. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening before your flight into the Serengeti the following day.

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to the Serengeti. As the landscape changes from the green foothills around Arusha to the vast golden plains of Tanzania's most famous national park, the journey itself becomes part of the adventure. On arrival, meet your private safari guide and begin your first game drive in the Serengeti, where vast grasslands support an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon of exploration before settling into your safari camp for the evening.

Spend a full day exploring the legendary Serengeti on a private safari with your experienced guide. Travel across vast grasslands and varied landscapes in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, buffalo and other wildlife. Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may also witness dramatic moments of the Great Migration. With a full day in the park, there is time to explore at a relaxed pace, follow wildlife sightings and enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti before returning to camp in the evening.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before continuing towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive among one of Africa's richest concentrations of wildlife. The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and, with some luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. After your crater experience, ascend to the highlands and continue to Karatu, where you will spend the evening at your lodge surrounded by the lush landscapes of northern Tanzania.

After breakfast, leave Karatu and transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. As you leave the wildlife-rich landscapes of northern Tanzania behind, the experience changes from safari to the warm waters and tropical atmosphere of the Indian Ocean. On arrival in Zanzibar, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to your beach resort. The remainder of the day is yours to relax, enjoy the beach and settle into island life.

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Zanzibar, with time to slow down and make the most of the island's beautiful beaches and warm Indian Ocean waters. Relax at your resort, swim, enjoy the beach or choose from a range of optional experiences such as a Stone Town visit, spice tour, sunset dhow cruise or a marine excursion. After breakfast, enjoy a final morning at your Zanzibar resort before your private transfer to the airport. Fly from Zanzibar to Nairobi, where you will connect with your onward British Airways flight to the UK.
