Day by day
- Day 1
Arrive Kilimanjaro, transfer to Arusha
Met at the airport and driven to Arusha. The rest of the day is yours to sleep off the flight.
- Day 2
Fly to the central Serengeti
A light aircraft over the Rift Valley, then an afternoon game drive on the way to camp.
- Day 3
Seronera valley
A full day in the valley — resident lion prides, and leopard in the sausage trees along the river.
- Day 4
North to the Mara River
A long drive north, following the herds. Camp moves with them, so where you sleep depends on where they are.
- Day 5
Crossing points
Dawn at the river. Crossings are unpredictable — some days three, some days none. You wait with the herds.
- Day 6
Northern plains
A second full day north, working the crossing points and the woodland between them.
- Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater
Fly south, then descend to the crater floor for the afternoon — black rhino, and the densest predator population in Africa.
- Day 8
Return to Kilimanjaro
A last morning on the rim, then the drive back for your flight.
