Kudu lodge

Kudu Lodge is a long-established countryside lodge situated in Karatu, at the heart of Tanzania's northern safari circuit. Set across 11 acres of rolling grounds filled with mature trees and tropical gardens, the property offers a peaceful environment where guests can relax between days of wildlife viewing.

Accommodation is provided in comfortable, free-standing en-suite bungalows positioned throughout the gardens. The lodge offers three main accommodation styles: Serengeti Suites, Ruaha Rondavels and Tembo Family Houses. Serengeti Suites provide particularly spacious accommodation, while the family houses feature two or three bedrooms, larger bathrooms, a lounge with a fireplace and their own garden areas.

The extensive grounds are one of the property's defining features, creating a green and tranquil atmosphere with abundant birdlife. Guests can relax beside the outdoor swimming pool, explore the gardens or spend time in the lodge's comfortable communal areas.

Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park are within the surrounding safari region, while Tarangire National Park, Lake Eyasi and onward journeys towards the Serengeti can also be incorporated naturally into an itinerary.
